The
Model NC400 is a unique miniature D.T.M.F. Decoder, using
relayed outputs for selective control of remote applications.
The NC400 combines three distinct, multi-addressable D.T.M.F.
Decoders in one highly versatile unit, offering multiple
user-configurable functions through microcontroller technology
and NorComm's custom software. The NC400 decodes all 16
standard D.T.M.F. characters, with address lengths of 1
to 14 digits and features Flash memory for non-volatile
storage of programmed codes, input and output functions,
remote programming, deadbeat disable, user output plus Default
Reset.
The
Model NC400 is easily programmed by means of a conventional
D.T.M.F. Encoder or the Model NC500 Universal/P.C. Field
Programmer. All information programmed remains intact regardless
of power interruptions. Coupled with a unique software design
and integrated D.T.M.F. filter/detector, the NC400 equips
your communications network with a stable dynamic D.T.M.F.
Decoder that is totally user friendly.

The
Model NC401 is a unique micro-miniature Touch-Tone Decoder
designed for selective calling of fleet dispatched vehicles,
mobile telephone systems, or for control of remote applications.
The NC401 combines three distinct, separately addressable
D.T.M.F. Decoders in one highly versatile unit, offering
multiple user-configurable output functions through microcontroller
technology and NorComm's custom software. The NC401 decodes
all 16 standard D.T.M.F. Characters with an address length
of 1 to 14 characters and features E2Prom memory for nonvolatile
storage of programmed codes, input and output functions,
remote programming, deadbeat disable and user outputs. The
NC401 is easily programmed by means of a conventional D.T.M.F.
Encoder or the Model NC500 Universal P.C. Programmer.

D.T.M.F. Sub-Miniture Encoder |
The
Model NC404 is a sub-miniature digital synthesized Touch-tone
Encoder using a precision crystal controlled CMOS tone generator.
This digital synthesized tone generator provides low current
drain, all 16 standard D.T.M.F. tones and excellent frequency
stability over a wide temperature range. Extensive circuitry
by-passing and a copper plane designed P.C. Board provide
excellent immunity to RF problems commonly associated with
hand held transceiver applications. The NC404 is designed
to mount directly to the back of a 12 or 16 button keypad
or can be wired separately for applications where there
is limited space.

The
Model NC409 is a unique micro-miniature Touch-tone Encoder
with field programmable A.N.I., memory dial and last number
redial capabilities, plus transmit time-out timer, channel
busy lockout and microphone mute function. The NC409 is
completely self-contained and is designed to automatically
or manually generate all 16 standard D.T.M.F. Characters
E2Prom memory provides nonvolatile storage of user programmable
memories and input/output configuration and it is easily
programmed by means of any standard D.T.M.F. keypad or the
Model NC500 Universal P.C. Programmer.

| NC4000
D.T.M.F. Multifunction Encoder/Decoder with Relayed Outputs |
The
Model NC4000 is a uniquely engineered multi-function D.T.M.F.
Encoder/Decoder designed for control of remote applications
or as a compatible replacement for Speedcall's Model C527
Series decoders. The NC4000 provides 11 modes of operation,
16 relayed outputs and 14 sense inputs with status verification
reporting of all active functions. The NC4000 uses the standard
Dual-tone Multi-Frequency (D.T.M.F.) signaling format and
may be operated over wireline, microwave, voice grade radio
or telephone systems using most methods of modulation. Circuit
design employs a 0 to 8 digit address with E2Prom memory
for storage of programmed modes, address, input/output configurations
and is easily programmed in the field by means of a standard
D.T.M.F. encoder, optional Local Control circuitry, the
Model NC500 Universal/P.C. Programmer or Option #4 Dedicated
P.C. Programmer.
Typical control applications for the Model NC4000 are: Traffic
signals, repeater systems, alert sirens, security of remote
sites, oil field pumping stations, irrigation and pipeline
valves, fuel storage pressure regulators, unattended television
monitoring equipment, airport control lighting, alarm sensing
devices and upgrading or replacement of older systems using
Speedcall's Model C527 series decoder units.
