NORCOMM
WARRANTY
This Warranty
is exclusive of all other warranties whether written, oral or implied.
NorComm products
are unconditionally guaranteed for two (2) years on materials and
labor from date of purchase, with the exception of clearance items
which have a 90 day limited warranty.
All warranty repairs
must be performed at NorComm's Customer Service Department in Grass
Valley, California. All product must be returned with a valid RMA
number.. Out of warranty units returned, constitute Purchaser's authorization
for NorComm Corporation to repair or replace equipment and to invoice
Purchaser for any and all reasonable costs of repair labor, parts
and freight.
NorComm shall
not be obligated to repair or replace equipment rendered defective,
in whole or part, by causes external to the equipment, such as, but
not limited to catastrophe, power failure, or transients, environmental
extremes, and improper use or maintenance of interfacing applications.
NorComm further assumes no liability for any incidental or consequential
damages which may result from the application of its products by the
purchaser or any other party.
ORDERING
INFORMATION
"Dealer
Net" prices will be honored for all manufacturers, dealers, radio
shops, RCC's, government agencies and public utilities who install
and service their own equipment. For pricing on larger quantities,
contact the factory for a quotation.
Aggregative pricing
is not permitted, i.e., purchases of different line items cannot be
combined in order to arrive at a higher quantity discount.
OPEN
ACCOUNT TERMS
06/01/09 - NorComm is not accepting any new accounts at this time.
Standard terms
are Net-15 days for pre-approved accounts. Credit approval normally
requires 2 weeks after receipt of a completed credit application.
Customers will be notified in writing when their credit application
has been approved. If an account has not been established, orders
can be shipped C.O.D., Visa or MasterCard.
Interest charges
at the rate of 2% will be added to all past due accounts and accounts
over 45 days will automatically revert to C.O.D. status. If it becomes
necessary to refer the account for collection all interest and legal
fees will be added to the amount due.
F.O.B.
POINT
Normal F.O.B. point is Grass Valley, California, USA. All shipments
are sent United Parcel Service (UPS) with prepaid freight and handling
fee added to the invoice.
C.O.D.
SHIPMENTS
C.O.D. Orders will be shipped by UPS, therefore, a physical street
address (not a post office box) must be specified when ordering All
C.O.D. and prepaid orders in excess of $150.00 will require guaranteed
funds.
INTERNATIONAL
SHIPMENTS
Orders from customers outside USA will be accepted on a telegraphic
transfer, or Visa or MasterCard basis. All international orders will
be shipped F.O.B. Grass Valley, California USA. All charges for freight,
insurance, customs clearance and any necessary documents that may
be required will be at the cost of the Purchaser.
RETURNS
NorComm does not accept returns on product that has been installed.
Returns for any reason must be pre-authorized and issued a RMA number
by NorComm prior to returning. Items that qualify for refund are subject
to a 25% restocking charge. Store credit will be issued in the case
of a refund and can be used on any outstanding invoice or on future
purchase. NorComm does not credit freight charges unless shipper provides
a refund for lost or delayed items.
CLAIMS
FOR SHORTAGES
Claims for shortages, erroneous charges or price corrections must
be presented within 10 days from date of invoice. Delayed items must
be reported within 10 days or no credit can be given. Freight damage
claims should be filed directly with the delivery carrier within 7
days.
CUSTOM
PRODUCTS
NorComm Corporation provides data signaling products for specialized
applications by either redesigning or modifying our standard units.
